Job Description :

Seniority    8 – 10 year’s experience
Location & travel    Dieppe – Le Tréport area
Job Purpose    General project engineer with knowledge of civil construction

The role will liaise with:
  • Architects (ex- and interior)
  • Contractors
  • Local governments (with assistance of a project manager and stakeholders team)
  • Project management
  • HSE management
  Site manager Main responsibilities:
  • Monitoring companies: Ensuring companies comply with safety regulations, contracts, and schedules.
  • Management of contracts and work contracts: Controlling the application of the terms of contracts and work contracts.
  • Planning and organization: Ensuring that companies organize themselves to meet deadlines and the overall site schedule.
  • Compliance with HSE rules: Ensuring that companies strictly apply hygiene, safety, and environmental rules.
  Required skills:
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and labor law.
  • Ability to manage projects and teams.
  • Organizational skills and rigor.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
    Activity 1: Follow-up and coordination of the construction of the O&M base (buildings, car park, pontoon, fuel systems, etc. ) in Dieppe  -    Daily follow-up
-    Reporting
-    Coordination with architect
-    Main objectives: no accidents, on time, contractual requirements are met. 
-    Finalize construction contracts
-    Final inspections of the works
-    Checking documentation, including as-built documentation
-    Take pro-active actions to reduce HSE risks    Daily,
  Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Consolidate and structure all available information historically and on a daily basis.
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly and bi-weekly reports.
Qualifications
  • 1    General Project management
  • 2    Affection and knowledge for civil construction activities
  • 3    Team player with good reporting skills and methodical ways of working
  • 4    Good understanding of English and French language in writing, speaking and understanding
  • 5    Good knowledge of relevant French legislation
  • 6    Possesses good leadership skills (integrity, vision/strategy, communication, relationships, persuasiveness influence, adaptability, teamwork, coaching and development, decision-making and planning)
  • 7    Good computer skills required

Interfaces

Internal:    Support by at least 2 pax for technical, legal and finance aspects.
External:    Contractors, Architects, Stakeholders and local governments.
